# Glyphmap

> Glyphmap is a local-first control, context, and memory layer for AI coding tools. It keeps agents inside project rules and active task scope, supplies focused project knowledge, preserves useful conversation state, and records decisions without sending raw source code to the Glyphmap cloud.

Glyphmap is not an AI agent and does not generate or edit code. It works alongside Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Grok Build, Gemini Antigravity, VS Code, Xcode, MCP-capable tools, and terminal workflows.
